Wow, it's hard to believe that Ava will be one year old in just one short month. We have started celebrating early by picking up a lot of fun toys lately. The new additions include a ball pit (that is currently parked in the living room, a playhouse in the backyard, and an awesome new wagon for a new perspective on walks. She loves all of them!
Ava is changing so fast...everyday. Her vocabulary now consists of mama, dada, hi, uh oh, ... and she's working on a few others. She's so close to walking. She cruises with one hand and is able to bend down to pick something up and get back up without sitting/falling down. It should be right around the corner! AND, the most exciting thing in my world, she can now fall asleep on her own!!!!!!! It took a week of sleep training to get it done (which included a LOT of skipped naps, crabby afternoons, and tears) but she's now an expert! She's been doing it three times a day for three days now. Yay!!!
