Sydney's 6 Month Portraits

Hello all!

Sydney had her 6 month portraits done today. She did soooo well! She is a happy baby and therefore easy to get smiles out of (yay)! I'll be mailing them out this week.

Sydney is changing so much lately. She is getting so fun! Laughing a lot...

Sydney is Six Months Old!

I can hardly believe six months have passed already! Our little peanut is growing so fast! Look at that hair!! It is really starting to fill in--so cute!!! It sticks right up on the top of her head though so I'm wondering if it's going to be straight, unlike her sis'.

Sydney had her well baby visit today and is perfect! She is 48% for weight at 16 lbs. 4 oz., 68% for length, and 65% for head circumference. The little peanut has never had anything more than one cold in her six months. We are so far blessed with very healthy children. However, that might be changing soon as Ava starts preschool in a few weeks (hopefully not though!). August 16th is her first day. I'll be sure to take a lot of pictures and do a post on that day. I'm sure she'll be super cute with her little "packback" (as she calls it) on her back.

I hope everyone's summer is going well! It's been so hot here in STL that we've stayed inside for the past few weeks, plus we also had a bit of inside work to do (unpacking)! But hopefully the heat will let up soon and we'll be able to get back out to play.

We've Moved...Finally!

Yippee! We are in our new house! A year in the making.... Although we must thank my parents for the wonderful accomodations while we were without a home. :) It was a wonderful 5 months. I know Ava enjoyed it immensely. I can still hear her voice "NaNa... I'm 'toming'!" her warning call to my wonderfully patient and always welcoming mother. Thank you so much for letting us stay NaNa and PaPa. I'm sure your house is nice and quiet (and clean) again now.

And now, as I said earlier, we are finally in "the house" and back in MO! As requested, below are some pics. Now keep in mind these aren't the best pictures. My newest and best camera has thus far been a casualty of the move...can't find it anywhere. So these were taken on my phone.
