Ava was a fancy cat this year (or as we took to calling it, "Meow Meow Ava"). NaNa made her costume and she looked cute as can be! (Thank you NaNa!) Kevin and I took her trick or treating for the first time in our neighborhood last night. I think she pretty much thought it was the greatest day ever. She was shy at first going up to the houses but once she learned they were going to give her candy she would walk up to even the scariest houses! When we got home we let her go a little nuts with her candy. She had a blast! The first thought on her mind this morning was "suckters and canny"!
Last night was also the first night spent in her toddler bed! She has made the switch without any problems at all! I don't think she knows that she is allowed to get up. :) Which is fine with me! She's a pro so far! Hopefully this continues because in about a month her new bed arrives which is a low loft bed with a couple step ladder. It's not as high as a traditional bunk bed but it is higher than a regular bed. It has rails though so hopfully that transition will go just as well. (fingers crossed)
Enjoy the first week of November, we certainly are! Kevin is home this week and we are gearing up for Ava's 2nd birthday later this week! We'll be sure to post pics from the day and her party that will follow on Saturday.
