We hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. We certainly did! On Thanksgiving Day Ava got to meet her Great Grandma & Grandpa Capps for the first time. She also got to hang out with "Big" Cousin Preston. The festivities wore them both out.
On Saturday, our new little family ventured out to get our Christmas tree. It was a chilly morning but we only had to travel one mile to get to Oma's Barn where we bought our tree this year. Ava pretty much slept through the entire experience. But she had quite a few admirers at the tree lot. Later in the day, Ava had her newborn portrait session at the house. We can't wait to see the pictures! We should have a link to send out to everyone in a few days. Ava was such a good model. She stared right into the camera for most of the shots (future career possibly?).
